Boarding at Scotch combines study, relaxation and fun
One of the most dynamic and respected schools for boys in Australia, Scotch College is located within a superb 27 hectare campus on the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne.
The School’s 160 boarders are accommodated in three boarding houses, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Each house has a recreation room, kitchenette, music practice room, reading area, computers and Internet access; weekend activities include sport, craft, dances and excursions.
Supervision by the School’s teaching staff provides a warm, caring environment to help boys develop self confidence and independence.
Year 12 students have individual study bedrooms whilst younger boys are grouped in small dormitories. There is an emphasis on developing sound study skills, which is reflected in the school’s high academic success.
Boarders use the College’s outstanding facilities to maximum advantage, including the library and computer centres, a magnificent performing arts complex, 20 tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, school camps and seven sports fields.
