At Calrossy Anglican School, Tamworth, it is not only academically where our students achieve excellent results. While Calrossy was ranked the top school in the New England and North West based on results in the 2010 Higher School Certificate, we also received considerable accolades in sport, music, agriculture, and art. Our students are committed to service and actively seek to participate in community events and seek ways to help others. Calrossy students receive an education that sees them grow and develop academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. They become valuable members of society with the goal of making a worthwhile and considerable contribution.
Our Christian heritage is our foundation. All we do at Calrossy is based on Christian values and ethos. This flavours the way we teach and how we treat each other, in turn providing an example for students to follow and a basis for morals and ethics.
We are proud of our boarding facilities at Calrossy. Every effort is made for students to feel at home and to provide opportunities for them to achieve to their potential in their schooling. The venture in to boarding for secondary boys in 2011 is proving very popular with existing families and new ones alike. It is an exciting time and provides parents with the option to have all their children at the one school in the one town – with obvious benefits.
Means tested bursaries are available and scholarships are awarded based on results of the ACER Exam, to be held on the 25th February 2012. Our website contains additional information and links to register for this exam.
