Tudor House – a preparatory day and boarding school for boys and girls
Learning is an adventure and it starts at The King's School, Tudor House.
Tudor House is built on a foundation of more than 125 years of outstanding Primary School education, in a unique regional setting of picturesque Moss Vale.
In 2017, Tudor House became co-educational from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Set on 169 acres, the School offers exceptional indoor and outdoor learning environments that provide the space children require to learn through active investigation and exploration.
Tudor House's flexible approach to residential education provides parents with an extension of their own home and for their children, an environment where learning never stops, with co-educational boarding available from Years 3 to 6.
As the largest primary boarding school in Australia, the residential community lies at the heart of the School with about 40 students and 10 staff living onsite. Students come from far and wide to board at Tudor House and the presence of city, regional, rural and international students adds to the distinct feel and flavour of the School.
The King’s School, Tudor House is the only school in the Southern Highlands offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education.
The dedicated staff of Tudor House are committed to their own professional learning and in turn, equipping students to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing global world. Students benefit from rich learning experiences in addition to their regular ‘classroom’ activities, with specialist teachers in Music, Visual and Performing Arts, Language in addition to English, Physical Education, Sport and our renowned Outdoor Education program, Kahiba.
At Tudor House, learning experiences driven by rigour, engagement and collaboration provide regular opportunities to capture the hearts and minds of students. The character of the children is nurtured and developed in a caring Christian community and each child is known, valued and loved.
The boarding program includes a wide range of weekend activities. On any given weekend, boarders can be found attending the Goulburn Rodeo, enjoying Jamberoo Action Park, visiting Sydney to watch major sporting events or enjoying activities on site including camping, mountain biking, archery, canoeing, woodwork and more.
Tudor House, a campus of The King's School, provides preferred entry to The King's School, Senior School in North Parramatta, which offers boarding for boys from Year 7 to 12.
