Collaborating and achieving the very best in boys' boarding education
For over 130 years Shore has been an Anglican boys’ boarding School in North Sydney. Shore prides itself on the opportunity for each boy to achieve, to engage and to take his place in the wider community. In the 2020 HSC Shore was once again placed amongst the highest achieving non-selective boys' schools in NSW. Boarding is the gateway into the classroom and our academic programme. Through academic, cultural or sporting pursuits Shore is established as a leader in producing confident, educated, well-rounded young men with a sense of integrity and strong moral values with a Christian perspective of the world.
At Shore we place a very high emphasis on the care and education of boarders. They are the heart of our community. A little under two hundred boarders are housed in four boarding houses in close proximity overlooking Sydney Harbour. Collaboration, consistency and personal attention underpin our four boarding households.
It is the aim of the Boarding Housemasters and resident staff to provide an atmosphere which allows boarders to take full advantage of the facilities and opportunities available to them at Shore.
We encourage you to come and visit our North Sydney campus. Every day is Open Day at Shore.
