A Home for Ambition, A Path to Success
At John Paul College, we have created a first for Brisbane – a “home away from home” where children are safe and nurtured in a positive learning environment.
In January 2015, our Boarding Village became a co-educational home to students from a diverse range of backgrounds and nationalities as we created a global village in the heart of our school.
Our Boarding Village
Fenton Village, our vibrant boarding community, is home to 56 students from a wonderful mix of cultural backgrounds, including Northern NSW, Thursday Island and Hong Kong, to name a few. Accommodation is provided in villas, each housing eight students within four twin-share ensuite bedrooms. A communal kitchenette and lounge in each villa create the perfect space for shared conversations and the formation of lifelong friendships. Offering enhanced privacy and independence, all villas feature swipe pass security technology and are located near staff accommodations.
Life at Fenton Village is full of opportunities for connection and fun. Boarders enjoy access to a range of recreational facilities, including playing fields, a games room, a dining hall, a basketball court, a fire pit and full access to the facilities at John Paul College, such as the Aquatics Centre, double-court indoor stadium and gymnasium.
Take a virtual tour of our boarding village from the comfort of your home!
Our boarding program offers extensive sporting, performing arts and social activities that keep boarders engaged and connected. These experiences enable students to develop maturity, independence, self-confidence and resilience within a caring, supportive environment.
At JPC, we emphasise exceptional learning, dynamic teaching, and strong traditional values, with our students always at the centre of our focus. It is not just a place for learning – it is where lifelong friendships are formed, life’s lessons are learned and values are important, like home.
