Humanities and the Creative and Performing Arts Experience Day
We welcome girls entering Year 7 in 2025 and 2026 to come and experience a day as a PLC Armidale girl on Monday, October 21.
There will also be a parent information session with our Principal, Mrs Nicola Taylor, and Head of Senior School, Mrs Kate Clynch, followed by a tour of Senior School for those families who have not
yet visited us.
If your daughter is boarding with us in 2025, a sleepover experience is also available.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about us and how we can equip your daughter for a life of significance.
Family led, Fraternity Nurtured: A Home Away From Home
PLC Armidale’s boarding creates a home away from home, led by the Jacometti family. Offering flexible options and personal spaces, it balances community living with independence. Rich co-curricular activities include the award-winning Livestock Team. The Explore, Serve, Journey program utilises nearby World Heritage National Parks, fostering character and preparing
girls for the future.
Future Challenge Ready: A Personalised Approach to Girls’ Education
PLC Armidale champions individualised education with an average 6:1 student-teacher ratio across the college. This enables personalised learning plans, nurturing each girl’s unique talents. We regularly top NAPLAN scores regionally and have the highest percentage of HSC Distinguished Achievers in Armidale. Beyond academics, PLC Armidale cultivates well-rounded individuals ready for future challenges.
Scholarships & Bursaries: A Legacy of Female Empowerment
PLC Armidale’s scholarship program has launched countless leaders. Alumnae like Fiona Simson (National Farmers’ Federation), Melissa Fletcher (Fletcher International Exports), and Dr Nicole Sides (Compass Fertility) exemplify its success. Covering academic, music, arts, and leadership, these scholarships empower diverse talents, shaping futures and contributing to the broader community.
A Celebration of Art & Community: PLC Armidale Signature Art Prize
Please join us for a night to celebrate art and raise money for our Scholarship Foundation. This signature event will include artwork sales, PLC senior ensemble performances, dinner and dancing. The winners of our inaugural $10,000 acquisitive Signature Art Prize will be announced and the 60 finalist works selected from the 130 entries received will be on show and for sale.
