Yanco is a fully residential, co–educational
NSW public high school

Set on 270 hectares, and between Leeton and Narrandera in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, Yanco Agricultural High School offers a stimulating residential education featuring a curriculum that specialises in both practical and theoretical Agriculture. Traditional values and practices that encourage a sense of scholarship, responsible leadership, personal integrity, sound citizenship and fine sportsmanship are espoused without neglecting the changing needs of modern-day society.

School facilities include an assembly hall, swimming pool, library, ovals, tennis courts, gymnasium, computers, and a 240-hectare farm. Modern student accommodation allows all students have their own personal space and the majority of senior students have their own rooms.

The farm enterprises include a piggery, poultry, teaching orchard, Murray Grey Stud, White Suffolk Sheep Stud, and Horticulture. The showing of beef cattle, horses, sheep and poultry are important parts of the school’s activities. Modern stables, round yard, show jumping arena, indoor and outdoor dressage arenas are available for students with horses at the school.
