Wenona’s Residential Program a ‘home away from home’ for valued boarders
Celebrating excellence in girls’ education since 1886, Wenona is a leading independent girls’ school in North Sydney, close to all the cultural opportunities of a big city. Wenona’s Residential Program is a vibrant part of the School’s friendly community. Numbers are kept below 50 to retain a home away from home feel. Small numbers allow boarders to make life-long friends with each other and with day girls of all ages who share their interests.
A caring and inclusive school community with an international outlook, Wenona welcomes boarders from other parts of Sydney, Australia and elsewhere in the world. Wenona’s exciting focus on experiential learning was recently commended by the NSW Board of Studies, and the School has an academic peer culture and a well-deserved reputation for impressive HSC and ATAR results. Wenona promotes confidence and zest for life through extensive co-curricular and sport programs. A host of exciting leadership and service opportunities is offered, in keeping with Wenona’s motto Ut Prosim, that I may serve.
