Collaborating and achieving the very best
In boarding – from the boys’ perspective

For almost 120 years Shore has been an Anglican boys’ boarding School, priding itself on the opportunity for each boy to achieve, to engage and to take his place in the wider community. Through academic, cultural or sporting pursuits, Shore is established as a leader in producing confident, educated, well-rounded young men with a sense of integrity and strong moral and spiritual values.

At Shore we place a very high emphasis on the care and education of boarders. Two hundred boarders are housed in four boarding houses in close proximity at the heart of the School overlooking Sydney Harbour. Collaboration, consistency and care underpin the boarding programme.

It is the aim of the Boarding Housemasters and resident staff to provide an atmosphere which allows boarders to take full advantage of the facilities and opportunities available to them at Shore. All this in an environment fostering growth enabling boarders to excel both academically and in the leadership of the School.
