Cranbrook gives boys a great start in life
Cranbrook is an independent school for boys from pre-school to Year 12, located in Bellevue Hill, Sydney, overlooking Sydney Harbour.
Academically, Cranbrook’s results are consistently outstanding. In last year’s HSC, 6% of Cranbrook’s boys were placed in the top 1% of NSW; while 23% of boys were in the top 5%.
In addition, Cranbrook offers a large range of co-curricular activities. In the creative arts, Cranbrook has exceptionally strong drama, art and music programmes. In sport, boys can choose from basketball, cricket, tennis, rugby, football, cross country, athletics, swimming, sailing and rowing.
For country boys, the Cranbrook boarding family is warm and welcoming.
Boys from Years 7 to 12 live in a caring, supportive home away from home. The two Boarding Houses are relatively small, catering for only about 50 boys each, and a Housemaster, his wife and several resident tutors lead each House.
Each House is divided into smaller tutor groups, which are overseen by a House tutor. They exemplify the peer support and “family” ethos of the boarding community.
