Aiming High With A Focus On
Developing Whole Young Women
At CGGS we prepare young women for life. Through our curriculum, co-curriculum and pastoral systems we strive to develop confident, resilient individuals with the capacity to achieve in all aspects of their lives.
From the time that each student enters the School, we give attention to developing a love of learning and a sense of belonging. Our teachers are passionate and dedicated educators, chosen for expertise in their field and the ability to relate to young people. The facilities and resources available to our students are extensive, providing access to latest equipment, technology and design.
Students are encouraged to participate in the extensive co-curricular program on offer, from theatre and music, to the arts, sports, debating and public speaking.
CGGS academic achievements are consistently outstanding, reflected in the results achieved by our 2011 Year 12 students – 26% achieved an ATAR of 95 or above. Our top ATAR was 99.95 (the highest possible). This is in no small way attributable to the students’ own dedication to excel, as well as to the dedication of our professional staff and the stimulating curriculum. We are justifiably proud of our students who leave us as confident young women with aspirations to undertake further studies and make a positive mark upon society.
CGGS is now an International Baccalaureate World School authorised to offer the Diploma Programme and the Primary Years Programme.
School and Boarding House Tours are held regularly throughout the year and a range of scholarships is also on offer. Please visit our website for details
