Assumption College is a Catholic, Marist Brothers, co-educational day and boarding school. Since 1893 our secondary college has been providing outstanding opportunities for our students, ensuring that we cater for the diverse educational, physical, social and spiritual needs of each young person in our care.
Kilmore is about an hour’s drive from Melbourne and has an essentially country flavour. Assumption College has always had a strong component of boarders from country Victoria and Southern New South Wales.
Currently our boarding facilities provide a home away from home for our boys and girls. The boarding experience is marked by a strong family spirit.
Supervised study is a great attraction to prospective parents and boarders. The boarders actively participate in the College’s sporting teams, and in other co-curricular activities such as music, drama and debating. This provides a balanced school experience that is enhanced by the richness of belonging to a boarding community.
